Canteen Cook / Manager

Job Type: Permanent Hours - 37.5/week - flexibility required - 07:30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
You will be responsible for all aspects regarding the kitchen and be working alone. Starting with simple fare, including, but not limited to, breakfast and lunch, we would like someone with a little flair and lot of enthusiasm. We have a workforce of around 40, plus agency staff. You will be solely responsible for all aspects of the staff canteen, including cleaning, stock control, ordering and handling cash. Basic food handling knowledge and previous food preparation experience is essential. This role would suit somebody who enjoys working alone and would revel in the challenge of creating a canteen with fare to suit our workforce and put their own stamp on it, in a modern working environment.
Key Duties: To prepare and serve food as per agreed menu.
Ideal qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene for Catering (not essential as training can be given). Candidate must have right to work in the UK and be able to provide relevant documents to support this.
